Hi Karol,

You're right, figuring out Medicare always feels so complicated. It doesn't seem like it should be so difficult because the folks that need to understand it are us "oldsters" and we need things a bit simpler. You'll get through it though and I'm glad you found a seminar near your home where they can help you. There are oftentimes volunteers at senior centers that help too. We have a senior center in Battle Creek that offers nice volunteers to help with things such as Medicare, etc. Good luck and it will soon all be in order. I can almost hear you laughing out loud!!!

Isn't that strange how dogs are attracted to nasty smells? We were on a walk with our dog years ago and the dog met up with a skunk and WOW - did our dog get the worst of that run-in. We had heard tomato juice helps get rid of the smell, but, it must take a lot of tomato juice because it sure didn't work on the first washing. Eventually, we could pet her again without plugging our noses.

We're having sunshine today and it sure seems wonderful. It's cold, but always the sunshine helps us get through the day better it seems. I guess 6 more weeks of winter is what we can expect after Groundhog Day predictions. This winter has been a tough winter and I know everybody is looking forward to spring this year.

Have a good day Karol. Ruth
