Young people today have different ideas of what is "formal".
How nice to receive flowers. Would brighten anyone's day.
Posted by Phyllis East at April 28, 2012 12:25 PMHi Karol, How very nice it was for you to receive flowers when you were not expecting a gift from anyone. That is when a gesture such as sending flowers is so genuine and dear. An unforgettable memory for you.
Oh my, hot pink short dresses and bright pink flip flops. Does indeed seem a little different, but, many in this generation feel they can do most anything that "feels good", and it is presumed that the world should just blindly accept this as A-OK. It surely isn't the way we (an older generation) think about formal weddings. I wonder if the minister that married them struggled with all of this? It's a whole lot different than what we were taught. We shake our heads and ask how this all happened!
Have a great weekend Karol. Ruth
