Hi Karol. I enjoy reading your blog posts and look for them everyday. I may not always comment on them, but thought you might like to hear some feedback. I'm the same way with Facebook, I'll read the posts everyday, but don't always update my status.

I am familiar with your surroundings since my parents shared a boat with another family and we were docked at Duffy Creek Marina on the Sassafras River. We were there from 1979-1980 to around 2000. Although my parents began to fall away from boating, it was very much part of my life. It's good to visualize your walking to the C&D Canal and remembering what Bakers Restaurant food tasted like. I wonder if Twinnies is still in Galina? That was a small mom&pop restaurant, which I loved their home fries! I miss the fresh veggies we got at the road side stands in Cecilton too. The corn was delicious as were the strawberries! There was also an antique Christmas shop on 213, I think you mentioned going there in a recent post.

Anyway, Thank You for giving me something special to read everyday or whenever you are able to blog!
