"Over There" is Out There

It seems U.S. troops have seen episodes of the TV show “Over There” and are not impressed. The show goes about as far away from reality as one can get. StrategyPage has a post on some of the grittier details of just how bad the show is.

The troops are not impressed. Some are appalled, although rather saltier language is used to express their reactions.

But what’s really annoying to a lot of the troops is that many family and friends will believe “Over There” is an accurate portrayal of operations in Iraq. The troops will have to spend lots of time and effort repairing that damage.
