Condition Update

I find myself envying people that are obviously healthy. This is particularly true watching TV. TV promotes only healthy people, but I don’t think I’d want to watch a bunch of unhealthy one either.

I find myself still in a bit of disbelief. In the back of my mind, I wonder if they’re going to discover they’ve made a mistake. I expect that’s a normal reaction to my circumstances. But I have seen my chest X-ray and the lower half of the left lung is obscured by the fluid.

In church this morning, I announced my recent diagnosis. It’s a very small church, but to their credit, they are extremely supportive.

This is all a bit of a disappointment.

I've found that small churches are often the most supportive. And it doesn't take a large gathering to get God's attention, so small or large, it's important to have the prayers of other believers.

You'll have mine as well. Best wishes for the future.
