11/1 Morning Update

I slept well last night, except for the every two-hour task to flush my plumbing. They told me to drink lots of fluids. Well, what goes in comes out.

About half way through the night, I had a pain in my left rib cage. I notice it only hurt when I was lying down. When I was vertical, it didn’t hurt. I used the Vorlon Wife’s pillow collection to construct something that had me sitting partly upright. It was at least upright enough to alleviate the pain. After about an hour in this position, I felt better. I return to my standard sleeping configuration and finished the night.

Upon arising this morning, I checked my temperature and it was 101.2 degrees. Yesterday the nurse told me that if my temperature went above 101 I should call them immediately. They wake up about 8:30 this morning. I will be calling them.

If it wasn’t for this fever, I would feel pretty well. I’ll say this; I’m getting real tired of lounging around the house.

I know the feeling about lounging around home.
I am doing my share, Of course I am 84 but even so like you, I have always been active and find it difficult. It's hard to replace activity with
not being so. However perhaps doing a little less at a time will work better. Try spending some time at the library you may find just the thing to alleviate some the strss that you are having. Check it out.

Every day can be a challenge.

Having the laptop helps. I'm finding I can sit on the sofa with the laptop on my lap and get a little work done.
