11/15 Morning Update

I continue to improve – which I take as a good sign. I think I’ve picked up a pound or two. I’m finding my electronic scale is not very accurate. It depends on how I zero it out. I may have to go out and get a mechanical scale. What I really need to do is to calibrate it with a known weight.

I did my two-mile jog this morning and walked only about five percent of the distance. I feel like my aerobic capacity is getting better. Mind you, it was jogging at a very slow pace. However, I wasn’t winded. I just had to push to make sure I jogged nearly the whole distance. Jogging is one way for me to get some metrics on my progress. Every time I go out and jog, it’s a test to see how my body is responding to the toxins they pump through me.

Although I’m feeling better, I still feel tired. I feel like I could lie down and go to sleep at any time. To use the Star Trek analogy, I have no warp speed. I think I have about two-thirds impulse power.

The Vorlon Wife’s shingles continue to haunt her. When the pain medication wears off, she suffers.
