The Night Before

Although I was tired today, I accomplished quite a bit. It as the second day of the upgrade and the users weren’t quite as rammy as they were yesterday. I got on well with the users and that helps. I have a sense of humor to help break the ice, when things get stressful. In particular, when they get upset because they make a mistake or just run out of patience, I just tell them, “Don’t worry about it. Everyone feels this way.”

It is true and it seems to make them feel better.

I left the client site about 6:30 PM. It was lightly raining and the drive home was rather messy. A normal two-hour drive took about two and half hours. But I’m home now and getting ready for bed. Tomorrow is a big day – so to speak.
