A Possible MP3 Solution for my Car

Here is a possible MP3 solution for me. I would need to buy and iPod as well as the CD adapter. It looks pretty smooth. I just wonder if it would work in Dasher-1 or Blue Velvet.

They've got a little video that makes it look like a breeze to install - Ha!

This looks interesting. You could download the entire bible onto the ipod in mp3 format. Actually, I think you can purchase some ipods that are already loaded with the bible. I don't know how difficult it will be to find one in the dramatic NIV version.

You know I couldn't resist this one:). You should check out www.ipodlounge.com for all things iPod. They do critical reviews of things like this. One of the big complaints I've heard about cd-changer ipod adapters is usually a too restrictive interface (for instance one only allows for 8 albums or playlists which may not seem bad at first but with an iPod containing over 2000 songs can be torture). Whatever one you pick try to keep the features in mind with convenience and use with a FULL iPod rather than what you current plan to use it with. One thing they didn't say was if the Head unit would display information from the iPod. Many of the other adapter's (like iCruz) from Monster will display information on the head unit. I would also recommend you take a trip to Best Buy and you should see a whole bunch of different car adapter solutions. The only one I've found to date that really works well with all the features of the iPod was from Clarion for their 1500.00 DVD head unit(a bit too much for me) but it lets you know there are other solutions out there that don't make you compromise as much. Also, here's a website that list quite a few of the solutions for bringing iPod into your car.
