Feb 10 Starts Late

I got to bed late last night so I skipped my workout this morning. I DID get in 7 measly pushups and 14 sit-ups. Yeah I know that’s down from where I was, but I’ll work my way back up again.

I tipped the scale at 161 Lbs this morning. It looks like I can back off on the food intact a bit. I also need to step up my physical exercise now that my stamina is making a tepid return. Today will be another busy day so I’m off and running.

Last night Nora and I watched a program about Scott Hamilton. He pushed through it all and returned to the ice after chemo and surgery. From the intial visit to the doctor to the first return on the ice. He did a wonderful skating routine and was winded at the end.

The crowd went wild...but it wasn't over.

Scott then said, "I'm back, but everyone knows I'm not truely back until I do this."

He then started skating backwards very fast and did his trademark backflip. We both sat there and cried. The crowd was stunned and the other pro skaters were in tears also.

He, as well as Lance Armstrong, proved it takes a special person, be it can be done. You are one of the special people.

Must be something with the Armstrong name.
