Razor Blogging

gillete_fusion.jpgThe Vorlon Father recently complained how he couldn’t seem to get a good shave. Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit fame had indicated in an earlier post that he had tried the Gillette Fusion and found it performed well.

I figured it was something the Vorlon Father would never buy for himself so I him bought one and sent it along. The results of the Vorlon testing are now in. The Vorlon Father has pronounced it a good razor. He is quoted as saying, “It was the best shave I’ve had in years.”

For my part, I don’t really need a great razor. I could probably go a week without shaving, but I shave daily just for practice. But I only use a butter knife.

I should shave every day, but generally shave every other day. I've been using the Gilette Mach 3 for several years now and like it. Perhaps one day I'll grow my beard back.

Even in my current state, where I get very little beard growth, I just can't stand myself If I haven't shaven.

I know, it's a disease. I think it's related to being a first born.

Besides removing facial hair, blade shaving also removes excess skin oil and dead skin cells. Blade shaving has improved the skin condition of several men and a couple of women that I know.
