July 28 Morning Update

I’m up and heading to the office. I’m feeling a little slow this morning.

Last night I thought I was going to up-chuck so I got up and retrieved a small bucket for the event, but the feeling passed.

I’ve taken something called Emend this morning. The oncologist prescribed it. I’ll take one more tomorrow morning. I’m also taking some more ginger capsules.

If I get real tired at the office, the Vorlon Wife has a chase lounge with a pillow and blankey so I can lie down and take a nap, if necessary.

They warned to make sure I stay well hydrated and drink plenty of fluids. Well, since yesterday I have gained 2 Lbs. However, I still feel thirsty. I’m stopping by Wawa for some bottled Lipton tea, which I find I like. They suggest drinking some Gatorade. I’ve not tried it before, but I’ll get a bottle and see how it goes down.

I’m off to the office.

Hi Ted, Good luck w/ the Gatorade! I suggest you try it on a day your taste buds are asleep!
Just kidding..............I hope it helps!
Best wishes. -Von

I could hardly believe you had the energy to go to the office today - only you have that much pi-zazz. I'm so happy you were able to do that. And, how very very sweet of Karol to have the chaise lounge and blankey ready. She's sooo good! Hope you did okay. I'm sure it wasn't exactly easy.

My hubby was advised to drink Gatorade when he was quite dehydrated, and he tried both Gatorade and Powerade, and much prefers Powerade. Try both, maybe you'll prefer one over the other. He like Powerade a lot now - drinks it everyday.

I so hope you feel okay this weekend, and that you and Karol can enjoy doing something pleasant.

Offering you our prayers and God Bless you both.
