October 20 Final Update

I did OK today, but faded in the afternoon. Now I’m feeling tired and achy. I think the Neulasta is kicking my butt. I took 600 mg of ibuprofen.

I’m looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow.

I agree with Doris that Perry is the winner in cuteness. So adorable. And, you know after thinking about the lady asking for some money up front, maybe she felt she needed to protect herself some too. She had a rather expensive dog to sell to someone she didn't know either. So, just maybe, that was her reason for asking for a deposit. Perry is so very cute.

I was very saddened that Reb lost his father and friend, but his Dad certainly deserved to rest peacefully. My sincere condolences to all the family. I think his experience of caring for his father during his last stage of life, was difficult, however, I know he wouldn't have changed sharing that time with his Dad. And, his father felt so much love and comfort with his son at his side. My thoughts and prayers to the family, and especially to Reb for allowing us to share this journey through his postings. That was courageous, and I'm sure he'll look back and see that even the writings he shared with us will be a help to him in the grieving process. It was a help to me because his emotions so replicated my emotions in caring for my mother. It's certainly a different type of journey than we have ever made before. In caring, Ruth
