November 13 Final Update

I did pretty well today. Although I’m tired tonight, I don’t feel as exhausted as last night. I had my Neulasta shot this morning so I am surprised. Tomorrow I may feel like crap.

I saw the lung guy today and he said if I wanted to have the swamp drained, call and we could schedule it as an out-customer service from the hospital. He says he yet to collapse a lung and he’s been doing it for many many years.

I’ve had a sudden increase in blood pressure in the last few weeks. Lately it’s been running about 150/95. For me that extraordinary high. I’m seeing my GP tomorrow morning to see if I should be taking something for it.

For now, I’m off to bed.

Your BP is too high. You should have it re-checked and if it remains high. You should be put on medication.
If it's been that high I can't understand why your Dr. hasen't put you on BP. Med.

Looking forward to seeing you all Friday.

Definately have the blood pressure checked out. Perhaps you should buy one of the better home units and check it a few times every day. I'm considering doing that.

I have a home unit and check my BP every morning. This morning I was 132/95. I have an appointment to see the doc this morning. What's weird is, it's only in the last few weeks I've seen my BP go so high.

Every one's BP can flunctuate from time to time. I think that may be a Norm. for most people.
But when it is stays at a higher level than what is considered Norm. Your Dr. should be consulted and prescribed Med's to bring it basck down.

I am wondering if the fluid you're retaining (plural effusion) is causing your blood pressure to rise. I am thinking that would cause your body's organs to work harder. That is certainly information from a layman, but I would ask the doctor if that could be causing changes in your blood pressure. Just a thought Ted. Ruth

Good analysis, Ruth. My Doc this morning mentioned that as a possibility.
