Saturday, February 10, 2007 update

The Vorlon was alert today. He had two visitors. The Vorlon brother-in-law and the Vorlon Toastmaster Friend. Don came to the office with me and helped me with the fish tank. He carried the 5 gallon water jugs out to the car while I drained ¾ of the water out of the tank. Don then took the fish tank to the car. He had loaded some other things in there too. We slowly made our trek home. It reminded me of a commercial where the guy said he couldn’t race his car because he had a gold fish in a bowl on the front seat.

Upon arrival, Bill our Toastmaster friend, was there visiting Ted. Cheryl prepared a pot roast for dinner and a cherry pie. Don and Bill helped with reassembling the fish tank and now the Vorlon can looked across from his bed and see his fish.

The Vorlon parents sent a lovely Valentine floral arrangement. It has red roses, red carnations and small white mums in a valentine vase.

The Vorlon had a long day and I think he is over tired he is still awake and it is way past his bedtime.

I’m going to do some reading and then turn in myself.

Sounds like you had another big day. We are sure
that Ted will enjoy the fish and know that the roast beef dinner with cherry pie are some of his favorites. Thank you Cheryl. It was nice that his Toastmaster friend stopped in to visit. Glad that you are enjoying the flowers. Do hope you all get a good nights rest. Love to all and God Bless you.

Dear Karol and Ted,

We have been in AZ for about 6 wks, and when we arrived back home and I was again able to read the blog, I was extremely saddened to learn that Ted's health has failed since we left.

I can't think of a stronger woman than you are during all of this turmoil of selling your business that you both so solidly built. Hauling things from here to there, and most importantly, caring for your husband in the most loving way. May God Bless you in His loving ways. As others have mentioned, your friend Cheryl is the epitomy of a true friend. You need her so much right now, and she's totally there for both you and Ted.

I'm thankful Ted has a hospital bed now, which makes your lives much easier, and him more comfortable. How I wish I lived closer and could help you more. That isn't the case, so please accept my humble prayers for you and Ted, and for all your wonderful friends who are helping you along this journey.

You write so beautifully Karol, and have the ability to condense your days into such wonderful messages for all of us who care so much for Ted and you. May God's blessings lift you during this time of trial. You will be in my thoughts and prayers very often. I know Ted is much more comfortable being in his home now, as opposed to the hospital. And even though this is a most difficult time for you to take care of so many things, I pray for your strength and thank you for all the love and security you are able to give Ted so he can be home. God Bless You, and thanks again for helping all of us adjust to this news also. Most thankfully, Ruth
