Happy April Fool’s Day and it’s also Palm Sunday.

Danny got me up at 5:30 this morning. He was moving around and then got vocal. He needed to go out so out we went. Then it was back to bed. The only trouble is then you fall asleep and wake up later than you had planned. We got up at 8:30. After some coffee, we went out again. Danny met another little dog friend. She was a little smaller than Danny and a little shy. She had been attached by a pit bull and had her lung punctured and other injuries. The lady warned me to take some pepper spray in case of stray dogs.

I used to have some but it all dried up. I’ll have to get some more.

I got ready for church and was almost late. Danny looked broken hearted when I went out the door with out him. The choir sang “The Old Rugged Cross Made the Difference”. It was a nice service. We were given palms as we walked in. Our first hymn was “The Palms” We didn’t have Communion today; we’ll be having it on Thursday. Dr. Donchez preached today. Pastor Bennett went to visit his family.

I walked Danny when I got home from church then had some lunch. I took Danny with me to the storage bin to get something I may need for the investigator. Of course it was the last ox I looked in on the bottom of the stack. When I got home, I did some more weeding across the front and put in some more mulch. I got about 98% of the front done. My neighbor Alex came out and we talked for awhile. The daffodils and hyacinths look pretty. I’ll have to take some more pictures.

I went in and called Danny Boy to go for his walk. I gave him his dinner and I had some chicken I had taken out of the freezer earlier. I made some coleslaw to have with it. There was a movie on TCM. It starred William Holden and Audrey Hepburn. It was one I hadn’t seen before. I called the Vorlon Parents. Ted always called them on Sunday evening so I continued the tradition.

I took Danny out for his nightly walk. When we got back; I played with him with his toy bone. I squeak it and he let’s go. I toss it across the room and he tears after it. He brings it back and holds it in his front paws with his butt sticking up. He looks so cute. He stretches that way. Ted wanted to teach him to bow on command. He’s a pretty smart dog. I don’t know if I can teach him to bow or not. His ears have been done. He seems to be doing better. He’s ready to go to bed and so am I.
