We were up at 6:30 this morning and out for our walk. I worked on the computer loading the photos of my car into the program. I tried to load it in the program Reb sent but am still having some problems. I think I got them into the program but getting them out is another problem. I went onto craigslist and read about the scams. I don’t know what to do about selling the Vorlon’s car. There are fraudulent certified checks and money orders. Also, I don’t know if I want people coming to my house to look at the car. I also don’t want to put it out in the drive with a sign on it. Maybe I’ll see if I can put a sign in the auto mechanic’s garage. Maybe one of his clients is in need of a good used car. I can also check with the credit union. Sometimes they have cars for sale on their lot. Things are really complicated these days. Ted always took care of these things. I feel so alone.

While I was working, one of Ted’s clients called to see how I was doing and to let me know how much they miss Ted. He was more than their computer guy, he was their friend. He was always able to help them with their computer problems.

I trimmed the hedge after lunch. I put Danny out on his lead while I trimmed away. He barked at the noise. It’s amazing what a little rain will do to bring on the growth of the hedge. It grows in uneven sprouts so I tried to even it up. I came in and had some tea.

I was doing some work, running up and down the cellar steps. I went upstairs and Danny was not on the bed. I looked in all the rooms calling him but could not find him. The door wasn’t opened so he couldn’t have gotten out. I wondered if he had gone down the cellar. He never goes down there. He stands at the top and looks down at me. I opened the door slowly as it swings in over the step. I saw white fur backing down out of the way. He had gone down the cellar without my knowledge and I had shut him in there. Poor little guy.

Danny doesn’t do his business when he is on his chain so I had to walk him. When we got back, Ginger, the Cocker Spaniel, across the street was out for her walk. She and Danny do not get along very well. Ginger hardly ever sees other dogs and she growls with a warbling sound. She growls at Danny and me. Danny barks at her and wants to be friends but she is not having anything to do with him. We’ll keep trying.

My cousin, Joy, called this afternoon. We had both received a photo in the mail so we were discussing the people in the photo. It was sent by my aunt, Jean. It was a photo in her wedding album. My parents were in it with my brother, Rick. He was about 13 years old. No young children were invited to the wedding so I wasn’t in the photo. Joy was in it with her parents and sister and sister’s family. My mother’s uncle Frank was in it. It was a good photo. We were both delighted to receive it.

After Danny’s evening walk, he went up to bed. He will be down soon for his night time walk. I better go do his ears. It’s past time to do that.

Hi Karol... I don't blame you about not wanting strangers to come to your home about the car. Please don't. Times are just not the best! What we did when my daughter in-law was selling her van.. we met at the local diner. Either I went with her or a neighbor. We didn't want her to meet anyone by herself. The parking lot is always full of people going and coming.. so it was safe. She accepted a bank check when it was sold, and we asked for two forms of ID and also wrote their license number down on the check. I do understand how hard this is for you... take a deep breath, and hang on.. you are doing great!
You are in my prayers.. Gloria

Gloria is right about the bank check. A certified check is the best way to go.

Stay dry today with the rains.

Give Ginger some time. Eventually she'll realize what a sweetheart Danny is.

Brandi, our cocker, doesn't like to go outside when it's raining. It's going to be a fun day.
