I had choir practice tonight and my voice sound like I'm getting a cold. My boss thought I sounded like I was getting a cold. I didn't hear it but maybe I am. Of course it could be allergies. We'll see.

Hi Karol, I so agree with Cheryl about you being placed where you are at this work site. It's impossible for us to understand the intricate workings of God. And, perhaps we never will, but, our faith must remain strong and it will be shown. I am always keeping you in my daily prayers Karol. One thing I was thinking about with regard to your working situation being so difficult, I think you need the employment and I am very thankful you have the job and benefits, etc. In our area, there are so so many people without employment. Even highly skilled people have been downsized, etc. And, when this happens, most of the time, these faithful and long-time employees are let go without any severance pay or benefits. It truly is a sad situation in and around here. I know this doesn't make your job any easier Karol, but, just think of the great concerns you would have if you hadn't found employment too.

Hopefully these words aren't hurtful to you in any way, but, I was thinking about the great loss of jobs after reading our newspaper. People are just at their lowest point ever. I certainly don't know the answer, but, I am thankful you were able to find work. And, now my prayer will be for something to change so you're not in such a stressful situation everyday.

Dear Lord, I ask that you lift Karol Armstrong from this stressful situation and bring her to peace. I thank you and praise you for your loving care for Karol. She is such a fine woman, and we know, without any question, that You will carry Karol through this time in her life. We thank You Lord Jesus. Love, Ruth
