I went to Bible Study tonight. The pastor was back. He had been having a problem with his back. We were studying Leviticus but didn’t get very far. People in the class asked a lot of questions for discussion. It was interesting, however and I enjoyed my time there.

I also went to the Lenten Lunch this afternoon. The priest from the Greek Orthodox spoke on the Samaritan woman at the well. He spoke of how the woman brought the Samaritans to Christ and so we must bring our community to Him.

I went to the Dentist this morning for my check up and cleaning. Everything checked out fine.

I didn’t get much else done except for searching the web for houses in PA. There are quite a few I would be interested in.

News from the Vorlon Wife.

Dear Karol,

You have really been on my mind a lot lately because of your journey through this evil disease of cancer. My "baby sister" died early this morning. She lived longer than we had thought and what a gift that was for Judy and her husband, and for everyone in the family. We were able to talk about many things that were important to her, but we already miss her so much. We know God has prepared His heavenly home for her and she will be free of pain again, which is of some consolation today. Judy had read a book that was entitled "90 Minutes in Heaven", which she somewhat enjoyed. It is about a minister that was pronounced dead at the site of a terrible automobile accident. As someone approached him much later, they found a pulse and he did live, but, with some devastating injuries and a lot of pain. But, the first part of the book is where he tells of his experience of being welcomed by family, etc into Heaven. He didn't see God during this time period. He was very sad to have to return to Earth. My sister took some comfort of his explanation of Heaven through his eyes. I think that everyone has some fear of dying. Our Christian faith is strong, but, death is something that is so foreign to us and it is a bit frightening even for the finest christians. I just wanted to let you know. Love, Ruth

Dear Ruth,

I am very sorry to learn of your dear sister's passing. I know she is in a better place with our Lord but I also know the pain of missing our loved ones. My minister just mentioned "90 Minutes in Heaven" last night. I am glad she found comfort in it. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Karol
