I just got back from my friend, June's. I took my stuff from the freezer to her freezer. I went to get a fudgesicle and it was all squishy. The ice cubes were starting to melt so I figured something must be wrong with it. I cleaned out the coils with a thin brush I use to clean the radiators. The coils hadn't been cleaned for years. I hope that's what it's problem was. I can't buy a new frig and I hate calling the repair man. You have to pay a fee and then they tell you it's not repairable. I don't know what it is with these appliances. The dishwasher leaks. I just got a replacement for the new dehumidifier. The air conditioner conked out in this computer room and I had to get a new hot water heater. I better get moved out of here before anything else goes.

I didn't do anything today except my bank statements. I went to church and then to lunch with my friends. We all got the meat loaf and were disappointed. It had too much filler. I put some ketchup on mine and it helped but it wasn't my mother's meatloaf. Moma was a good cook. I miss her. I'm not able to duplicate her cooking. Now I just fix something to eat.

I think the old saying is true - "It never rains, but what it pours". And, that's what it sounds like your appliances are doing. And, they aren't cheap items to get either repaired or replaced. I'm sure hoping the coil cleaning will make the freezer work properly. We have noticed that same type of problem before too. The iron quits, the freezer is making ice cubes 24 hours a day - the vaccuum sweeper starts smelling hot and the bathroom sink is clogged. Oh my. I remember a few years ago when we had to replace our washer, dryer and water heater. I guess that's just what we have to expect every now and then. But, yes, I think you need to get out of Vineland as fast as you can. Trying to keep two places going is just no fun for you.

Our humanness doesn't allow for patience as we would like, but, In God's Timing, He will make things well for you Karol. He promises us He will be with us through all and to trust Him. We can stand on His word. Of course, our hearts and minds must be fixed to believe and accept, So, speak it out to God and tell Him that you are claiming His Promises. I hope you don't mind me saying things like this Karol. I mean it for good, but, still you may find it offensive and I would never want to do that to you - you are a dear friend to me through this blog. Even though I have never met either you or your dear husband, I have formed great feelings and concern for you. I prayed for Ted and my heart nearly broke for him and you as I began to see that he was failing. I knew what good friends, as well as husband and wife you were, and I could only imagine the pain you were going to have to endure
at his passing.

So, I will be hoping that your freezer begins to freeze again and no other major expenses come your way. I think you ought to also mention to God that perhaps He could let up on testing you. It seems like you've passed any tests that He has given you, and yet, you've continued to bless and praise Him. Oh Yes!! Have a really great week Karol. Love, Ruth
