Don and I caught the 9:25 flight for Michigan. W drove about an hour and a half to me my friend, Ruth in Battle Creek. We had a lovely lunch and it was wonderful to meet my blogging buddy in person. We were both happy to be able to get together in person. I will post a photo of the two of us when I return.

While at the restaurant, Melissa called and had shown someone my house and they made an offer. I made a counter offer and we met in the middle. They want to make settlement the end of Sept. YIPPEE!

We drove up the road to Ted's parents house and there were lots of barns to photograph for my barn storming series. I couldn't get shots of them all. Some didn't com out as we were moving but most are OK.

We were happy to see Ted's parents. We took a walk around the yard to stretch our legs. We had a nice dinner of Chicken ,potato salad, rolls, and watermelon. After dinner, we sat on the deck and watched the hummingbirds come to the feeder. Don and I got some photos of them.

Hi Karol,

What a wonderful day it was to be able to meet you and Don for lunch. I just appreciated so much that you took the time to fit me into your schedule. Such a blessing it was. I LOVED it!!!!

I am SO SO SO happy about the sale of your house. Your life will become a whole lot easier for you now and I'm just delighted about all of it. It takes so much patience at times to wait for our answers - actually things happen just as they should, but, we're an impatient people. Any-way I guess you can tell that I'm just thrilled for you Karol.

Again, I thank you for sharing lunch with me. I got two for one with meeting both you and your brother. Enjoy the rest of your time in Michigan. I think you'll enjoy seeing upper Michigan and all the sights. I just love MI.

Give our love to Ted and Phylis and hope all went well at Rachel's wedding today. I think I mentioned to you that we also had a wedding today. It was very very lovely. Our Pastor did a wonderful job with presiding over the wedding. He really personalized it for them.
Love, Ruth
