Hi Karol,

Your photos are just wonderful. I SO enjoyed looking at all of them because we've traveled the very same routes and seen all of the sights that you and Don enjoyed. You and Don took some really great photos. I have always loved the Traverse Bay Lighthouse - to me it is special for some reason.

And, Whitefish Point is a bit eerie, but, interesting. There have been many shipwrecks on Lake Superior, probably the most famous being the Edmund Fitzgerald. It happened in November and was such a tragic loss of men. I can't think of the singer that wrote and sang the song of the loss of the ship. The song is eerie too, but, I like it.

I wish it hadn't cost you so much for your trip, but, it just seems like everything has gone up and up, and especially for air travel. I'm really glad Erica's husband will be able to move you for less than the $3,000 quote you got. At least, I hope his charge will be much less. Before long, your life will begin to feel a bit more settled when you're finally taking care of just one home. As I've always said, you have done an absolutely remarkable job of taking care of SO many things. You're a really great lady my dear friend. I'm so glad to call you my friend and been able to give you a real hug.

Again, I really really loved your pictures. Give my best to Don and I'll be blogging with you again very soon. Love, Ruth
