I looked at the church schedule last night and saw that they were having their roast pig BBQ today. I opened my cupboard and thought what can I bring? I didn’t feel like running out to the store. I had two big cans of Van Camp’s Baked Beans. I decided to take them. I heated them in the microwave this morning and put them in my cooler with a heat pad that I heated in my microwave. Off to church I went. The service and BBQ were held at the Town Point UMC. I put the beans in the kitchen and went into the sanctuary. The choir director handed me a hymnal and said, “Good to see you, you’re singing today.” I said, “I hope I know the song.” It was “Come to the Church in the Wildwood.” It was the last service at the Town Point Church. They merge together in CC next week. There was a big turnout. All three services were together. The BBQ was good. I sat with my friend, Joan, and some other church people. I knew Tucker and Helen from CC church and met some new people. They usually went to the Contemporary Service.

It was a wonderful day weather-wise. Not too hot and the humidity was low. I did get hot later but not until I got home. I walked Danny and realized I forgot my dish and cooler at the church. I ran back and retrieved it just as someone was picking it up off the table to take inside. All the beans were gone. They were really good. I didn’t doctor them up or anything. I don’t think I had Van Camp before. I had gotten them and brought them here just in case I needed an emergency covered dish. It was a good choice. There was only one other baked bean dish and I liked mine better.

Everyone was happy I sold my house and I could join them on a regular basis. My exercise group doesn’t have an exercise tape as the machine ate the one we all liked. I don’t know what happened to the others as I think they had a couple. I will look through mine to see if I have one the others might like. I don’t know where they are though. Everything is in boxes. I tried to label them but I still can’t find them. They may still be in Vineland.
