I went and had my routine Doctor exam. today. I had gotten behind on things when I moved. Many of my appointment were due in October and since I moved at the end of September, things got out of kilter. I still have to find a dentist to have my 6 month checkup.

It went up to 40 degrees today and melted most of the snow. It was slushy this morning but by this afternoon, most of the snow was gone. We get a one day reprieve and then more snow on Friday.

Danny likes to sit on my lap while I'm at the computer. He rests his head on my arm and sometimes it is difficult to type or rather use the mouse. He is a funny little dog. As soon as I sit down here, he comes a running and begs for me to pick him up. He ignores the computer unless there is a moving film on it. He barked at my Elf-Self where he and I went dancing across the screen.

Getting cooler here too! Yesterday was 80, tomorrow only up to 69. Poor me.

We do not miss that snow up there. Expect if Leonard was still working at the prison he would be called out to plow for the State at over $43.00 an hour. Now, that would be nice.

Hi it sounds like we're having similar weather right now. It's tough walking when the slush freezes into ruts. I went out yesterday, but, I had to be very careful. David offered to take me, but, I just wanted to browse in some of the stores and he is NOT a browser. I don't think most men are. They know what they want to get, they go immediately to that area, get it and get out. He always says it seems like I have to touch everything and he's probably close to being right. I went to the mall, so it was safe walking once I got inside.

I loved the picture of the barn in Michigan. It's sad to see the old barns decaying. but, you're right, farming is different today as are most other things around us. And, the picture of your Chesapeake Estates looks lovely through the trees. You definitely have a knack for making the most of taking pictures. I always enjoy them very much.

Well, we're nearing the weekend and I wish you a nice one dear friend. Love, Ruth
