Barnstormin'

Michigan barn #20.

Yesterday, we went to the Fall Festival in Chesapeake City. My church was selling popcorn and peanut brittle. Erin won a cake at the cake raffle and I won a vacation for a door prize. There was pumpkin painting for the children and the elementary school children performed a couple square dances. They were really cute. We walked around the town through the little shops and had a nice time. I should have brought my camera. We took a rest afterward and then went to dinner at the Asian Infusion Restaurant with Cheryl, Ed and little Ethan.

Hi Karol,

You've been doing some really fun things. I've really missed being able to get out and do some of the fall activities that we're having around our area. Since it was discovered on my bone scan that I have several Sacral fractures, I've been unable to do much. Bah Humbug!!! I'll tell you one thing, a Sacral fracture is so very painful and it will take about 1 year for it to heal. I went to the pain clinic this morning and they did give me two injections that we're hoping will relieve some of the intensity of the pain. Say a prayer or two for me if you will.

I so enjoy your beautiful church and barn pictures. Thanks for always sharing with your bloggers. The sun is bright and pretty, but, it is incredibly windy. A very typical fall day in Michigan. Love, Ruth

WOW! A vacation - where to?

Ruth, I'm so sorry you are in pain. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope the injections are a help to you.

Phyllis, There is a long list of places to go to. Some are far and some near. I have to choose one. Preferably one where Southwest Airlines flies. They are less expensive and don't have baggage fees. The vacation doesn't include transportation.
