Friday Flower Bloggin'

111811wildflower.jpg

This is a pretty little wildflower that bloomed all summer. It looks like a member of the daisey or mum family.

All the flowers posted today are the last of the summer flowers. I don't expect them to last much longer as the temps are drifting downward and the leaves are gone.

My brother is doing very well after his surgery. This is wonderful news. His lymph nodes were all negative for cancer and he may not need chemo. He will meet with the oncologist next week to go over all his reports.

News from the Vorlon Wife.

Hi Karol,

I was absolutely thrilled to hear of such good news for Don. No more cancer in his lymph nodes is such a good sign and how grand it would be if he didn't have to have chemo. I truly am praising God this very moment in hearing this wonderful news. I'm so thankful you have been able to be with him through this journey Karol. He has not been able to even take a wild guess what might be might hear next. This is the VERY best news we could all hear. Amen and Amen!!
My love to both of you, Ruth

So good to hear that they did not find any cancer cells in Don's lymp glands. What a blessing. Also to hear that he is feeling quite well.

Praise the Lord.

We will all be at Tom's Thanksgiving as David came home today and the girls & families will be home from California also. Ned and Suzanne will take me down so I won't have to drive.

Last Thursday evening we had our anual Turkey Supper at church and when I left it was snowing quite hard. I thought perhaps I should stay home but went anyway. When I returned it had stopped and was clear once again. Burrrr, Hate to think of winter weather but wouldn't live anywhere else.

Love, Mother
