Monday:

I took my microwave to Sears. It was still under warranty so I am able to get it fixed. It is having the same problem it did last year. It's a good thing I renewed the warranty. I went to my niece's for dinner.

Tuesday: I went to exercise class and then helped Ursula with the filing and so forth. I did a little weeding but it was cold and windy.

Wednesday: I did some wash and hung it out on the line. It was windy so it dried quickly.

Thursday: I went to exercise class and then to JoJo's for a grilled sticky bun and a cup of tea. I walked Sparky when I got home and had some chicken noodle soup for lunch. It was good on a cold day. I am so sick and tired of winter. There are some cherry trees blooming also daffodils and hyacinths. the crocuses are still in bloom. The star magnolias are swelled up and will probably bloom when it warms up. Hopefully that will be tomorrow. I did the Federal portion of my taxes today. I'll do the state tomorrow. I didn't go to choir practice. I am still tired out from my cold and now the pollen is getting to me.

I am getting spam comments and sometimes have to remove the comment option because the spammer seems to lock onto a certain date and keeps putting their unwanted comments on it. I wish those people would get a life of their own and leave me and others alone.

Hi Karol, At least you're seeing some actual flowers and things are looking more like Spring than it is here. The sun has shone the last couple of days, but, the wind still makes it feel very chilly. Most everyone is tired of the chilly days and nights. WE WANT SPRING!! We want to be able to open the doors and windows and air the house out after the long winter. Weather patterns have surely changed and we can't really even guess what any of the four seasons are going to be like it seems. Spring is such a time of renewal and normally raises ones spirits and we feel joy. We must wait and see what tomorrow brings concerning our discouragement with cold weather.

Dave and I have spent most of March in a warm climate, but, it was close to home - in fact it was right here in our local hospital. Dave because of his horrible COPD, and then me with what the docs thought was a stroke. I lost quite a bit of vision in my left eye and I didn't do well on an EEG. My thinking and memory are comprimised. I am working with an Opthomologist concerning my vision concerns and will be seeing a Neuro-surgeon concerning therapy to regain short-term and long-term memory. It surely all happened so fast. We're both home now and sort of redesigning our lives in order to be able to manage all of this. The reason for some confusion regarding whether I suffered a stroke is because they weren't able to do an MRI because of my pacemaker. I guess they don't really get such accurate readings from a CT-Scan. We certainly never know what each day might bring. Stay on the sunny side - always on the sunny side of life. Be thankful for all things the Lord has so generously gifted to us.

Really sorry to hear you have to suffer from allergies - they can sure make you miserable. Our oldest son Eric must live with all of that too. He looks so tired all the time and I guess he feels that way too. UGH. Maybe together we can wish Spring here a bit sooner. Ruth
