Friday Flowerbloggin'

This photo was taken August 2010 in Vineland, NJ. I took some photos of my new butterfly bush on my cell phone but have not been able to download them as yet. Swallowtail butterflies are plentiful this year and my new bush is doing well. I planted it in June and we had a lot of rain so it is doing well. It has blooms and butterflies. I have done a lot of weeding halfway down the west side. Still more to do. It's never-ending especially with all the rain we've had.

Hi Karol,
You are always remarking about all your weeding.
I have been using Preem since I came here and It really works! When I moved here the weeds were at least 2' tall. What a mess. When I finally had it cleared out I added Preem and what a difference. No more weeds, thankfully. A few are now popping up so will have to add some more Preem but very few weeds. It sure saves me a lot of work, especially since I now have trouble getting up and down. You should try it. It prevents the weed seeds from sprouting.

Can the Preem be put on flowers? The weeds grow in
With my flowers.

Yes Preem can be used on flowers. It just keeps the seeds of any plants from sprouting. Weeds or flowers.

The portulaca's, impatiens, and vinca's reseed themselves.
