I did a couple loads of wash today and changed the extension cords for my outdoor lights. The timer they were plugged into was making a noise so I disconnected it but now have to plug and unplug the lights. I like to leave them up at least until Epiphany Sunday. It used to be the Christmas season went from Christmas Eve to Epiphany Sunday. But these days, I see Christmas trees out on the curb on Dec. 26th. I like the lights during the dark days of winter.

I went to Redner's super market to get a few things before the storm. I already had ingredients for French Toast so I got some bacon to go with it. Actually, I needed dog food.

I stopped at the church to see what bills needed to be paid and then on home to walk Sparky. The Honda dealer called to let me know they would pick up my blue Honda on Friday, weather permitting.

I spent the afternoon reading one of my new books, "Killing Lincoln" by Bill O'Reilly. It is very interesting and well written. History buffs on the Civil War would love it.

News from the Vorlon Wife.
