Another grey day. It was above freezing though so we had a lot of melting going on. We're starting to see some bare ground. There was a very fine mist all day. It wasn't quite rain, it was almost like fog.

I screwed the drawer rail onto the kitchen drawer. I had it just sitting there but it needed to be screwed in. One rail was missing. The same thing in the bathroom; although, I did find that rail. I don't know how it would become missing. The one in the kitchen also has a piece of the cabinetry missing. It's the piece that goes between the two drawers. I'm not sure how I'm going to fix that; maybe with some goop.

I am still going through stuff. I tossed some magazines that had the date of 2005. I fixed a curtain in the blue bedroom. I caught a couple more stink bugs. I spotted one hiding on my plant in the kitchen. They are probably eating my plants.

Here comes Danny. He was sleeping on the bed but he got up to take a look at me in the computer room. He is still on the bed, down at the bottom so he can keep an eye on me. It's as though he is calling me to come to bed.

Hi Karol,

Well, it looks like the infestation of the nasty stink bug has made its way into our part of the country. The article told about how the bugs damage fruit and vegetables. I truly dread seeing them in our area after hearing you tell about how many you've had in your house. UGH!! It said they came from Asia, very much like the Asian ladybug that stinks when you squash them.

We keep getting small amounts of snow, but, nothing like the heavy snow we had a few days ago. It's very slippery walking. This morning, our church parking lot was plowed, but, still under the thin layer of snow, there were icy spots. I take teeny tiny baby steps so I don't fall. And, David is helping me on one side and also I have my walker. I really am a bit afraid of falling and breaking something. My doctor told me I have Osteoporis, which didn't please me in the least. I honestly don't mind winter except for the danger of taking a spill. I always hope and pray Ted & Phylis are very careful. They need each other always.

You be very careful outside while walking Danny Boy. Have a great week. Love, Ruth
