Here I am sitting in my slidder at the top of the hill at Glasgow Park, Delaware. My niece, Cheryl took the picture from her cell phone.

Hi Karol, I guess the biggest news in the lives of many of us is this horrible winter weather. It seems like it is never going to end. In hearing the weather forecasts for the next week, it just gets worse and worse. Very difficult walking. I am quite the house mouse this winter. I'm not steady on my feet even on a good day and with the ice and snow, my cozy house seems like the safest place to be. Thankfully, Dave is doing quite well, so he's been the grocery shopper. He gets cabin fever and I don't, so doing some of the chores suits him to a tee.
You are so brave to go sliding. My last sliding trip was years ago and I hurt my spine badly. I've never tried again. You're game for most things though and I admire that about you. So, you just do what's fun,, but, be a little bit careful too.

It continues to snow and every single day is a challenge to get around outside. Spring will be the most welcome gift for those of us that have been hit hard this winter. I fear the crocus won't be seen until July.
Stay safe and enjoy this frozen world. Ruth
