Friday Flower Bloggin'

Lilies are blooming.

I have been walking with my neighbors, Alice and Sue, along Bethel Church Road. Bethel Church is no longer there as it was taken down the last time the canal was widened. The cemetery is still there but many of the grave had to be moved and many were unmarked. They have a monument for the unmarked graves. They may date back a couple hundred years.

Alice had a man come out to get a quote on a Sunsetter Awning. I had him stop by and give me a qupte. I decided to get it as the deck get over 100 degrees in the afternoon. I got all the bells and whistles with the remote motor, electric outlet to the outside from the kitchen, a hood to keep it in when not in use, and so forth. He gave me all the discounts that were available. It should be here in a couple weeks.

News from the Vorlon Wife.

Betting you will love that awning. Lilies are lovely. Where we are for two days in British Columbia the RV park owner has flower beds all over the place. And lots of hummingbird feeders. I asked her when they got to this area. She said April 18 and leave August 18. Like clockwork. I've never seen so many different kind.
