I went to the Doctor's yesterday. I had something wrong with my eye. I didn't know if it was an allergic reaction to a weed, an insect bite, or a stye. I had been weeding and my eye itched. I rubbed it with the back of my leather glove that looked clean but one never knows. It wasn't getting any better so I went to the Dr's. It is a stye but not in the eyelash area. It is higher on the eyelid.

Still struggling with this new computer. Why can't they just leave things alone. I liked Windows XP.

I have more weeding to do and I want to get my deck stained before my awning comes. I need to do both the deck and the front steps. I also need to do the landscaping timbers. I better get to work before it gets too hot.

Hi Karol, The humidity is just awful here too. My grandson and I went out to eat a little later than normal a few days ago and the windshield wipers had to be on every minute because of the humidity that was in the air. It was really kind of eerie because of the darkness. My grandson wanted to drive, but, he didn't really know what to think about the strange weather stuff that was going on. He is visiting here from San Diego and he wasn't used to our strange weather. I won't be doing much night driving anymore now that Dave isn't with me any longer. I miss him so terribly and I know that both you and Phylis understand this most horrible grieving time. Oh how I miss David.

It will be nice for you to have the awning over your deck so you can enjoy it more. We have a covered patio and many neighbors join us when we sit out there. It's seems to stay nice and cool most of the time. I find myself still saying "we" when talking about things here at home. That will take time to get used to I suppose. I certainly liked it so much better when I could say "we" instead of just me. Ruth
